Who are we?
Formerly known as Viewfield Rovers Ladies FC, the team played their 1st season in March 2014, in SWFL 2nd Division South West, as Renfrew Ladies FC, finishing 3rd & winning the League Cup. Due to an administration error the team failed to register for the 2015 season, but Renfrew returned in 2016, training and playing home games at New Western Park, and playing in the SWFL 2nd Division South West. It was a successful season with the team winning the league after an unbeaten campaign, scoring 145 goals and conceding only 11 on the way. Good runs in both the League Cup and the Scottish Cup saw Renfrew Ladies lose to the eventual winners in both competitions. In 2017 after league restructuring, Renfrew Ladies played in SWFL 1st Division South, finishing in 5th place. Mid table finishes in 2018 and 2019 came before the 2020 Covid Pandemic resulted in a postponed season. Football returned for the 2021/22 season with Renfrew finishing 3rd in the SWF Championship South, the third tier of women's football in Scotland.
2022/23 was another season of restructuring as the best teams from the North and South regions combined to play in The SWFL Championship, where Renfrew Ladies face the best teams in a battle for a place in the Premier League.
